ACUA VITAE

ACUA celebrates 25 years in the latest edition of ACUA Vitae with 25 profiles of people in our community who have promoted, preserved, and developed Ukrainian folk and contemporary art. Tsi-Ka-Vo

Tsi-Ka-Vo is a section devoted to curious minds where articles of interest along Ukrainian themes, both local and international, will be presented. Tsikavo translates to "something of interest" in Ukrainian and we will attempt to stimulate, intrigue and inform inquiring minds.

Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company wants you to follow their blogs as they twirl through Bulgaria at the Euro Folk 2011 competition on www.cheremosh.ca. The semi-professional ensemble is the only North American group competing in the European Championship of Folklore. During the 10 day competition through July 19, the dancers will be taking turns writing about their adventures in Bulgaria, and posting stories and photos of their costumes, scenery, and new friends.
